After decades of strong public advocacy, Scarborough is finally getting the rapid transit expansion it deserves!
Today, the Government of Canada announced an investment of $2.26 Billion for the development of the three stop Scarborough Subway Extension.
The Scarborough Subway Extension will add ~8km of rail into Scarborough, along with 3 additional stops along TTC Line 2:
- Lawrence Ave & McCowan Rd
- Scarborough Centre
- Sheppard Ave & McCowan Rd
